THE WORLD SETS SAIL AFTER SUCCESSFUL 10 DAY PROGRAMME IN IRELAND

Dublin waved a fond farewell to Ireland’s friends at sea on board The World following a 10 day itinerary across Ireland. During the stay, the luxury residential cruiseliner called at the following ports – Belfast, Derry – Londonderry, Galway and Dublin.

A truly bespoke programme of events was devised for the Residents taking into account their personal preferences, hobbies and general interests. To give the Residents a taste of the very best of Irish hospitality, gala dinner events were organised at the Titanic Belfast, Lough Erne Resort, Castle Coole, Cnoc Suain and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

The programme also included guided visits to our island’s most acclaimed cultural attractions including Hilsborough Castle, The Giants Causeway, Guinness Storehouse, The Aran Islands and more.

The World’s visit to Ireland comes just three years after it last docked here in 2010 where its Residents enjoyed a six day visit of Dublin and Cork, managed by Corporate.ie. Attracting this spectacular Ship again in such a short time is testament to Ireland’s tourism and hospitality offering.

The World will now enjoy a summer break in the Mediterranean. To view more information on The World please click here.
