€2.25MILLION INVESTED IN THE ICONIC DUBLIN VENUE

Following a dramatic redesign last year, The Conference & Events Venue at The Mansion House is now one of Dublin’s most impressive and desirable event spaces. On, Wednesday, 21st May, a Showcase Lunch featuring guest speaker Ramona Nicholas of the Cara Group, welcomed representatives of over 200 of Ireland’s most influential companies and associations, including Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, LinkedIn and Pfizer.

For six years, the best architects, conversationalists, interior designers, construction experts and event industry leaders in Europe have worked together to ensure that the Conference & Events Venue at The Mansion House is the most desirable event space in Dublin.

In 2013, the historical 18th century building was transformed from two large event spaces into a flexible six space purpose designed event venue for Dublin. To drive competitive advantage, the entire venue team was expanded, and leading event experts were drafted in to manage the venue day-to-day, delivering a unique, turn-key solution.

The €2.25million investment in the venue was built around a five-year business plan – projected growth year 1, 2014 is forecasted at 30%. Currently the business will deliver a 120% increase in sales in 2014 year on year. A 15% year on year increase in sales is forecasted from 2015, with current confirmed bookings stretching as far out as 2019.

25 new permanent jobs have been created, bringing permanent staff levels to 75 employees with future employment forecasted. A new, experienced Business Development Manager has been brought on to drive the national and international conference and event business. The Conference & Events Venue also has instilled a policy to purchase Irish produce only – supporting local.

The six separate yet flexible and interlinked function rooms, can be used singly on in combination allowing The Conference & Events Venue to easily accommodate almost any size or style of banquet, exhibition, meeting, seminar, conference, social function, or business and corporate event.

  • Six event spaces for one-on-one meetings or events for up to 700 people
  • High Speed Wi Fi as Standard – we have invested in the most advanced technology to allow delegations of over 600 users to keep connected through high-speed secure wireless, and wired, internet connections
  • Technology to allow the organiser to share their event with the outside world via webcasts and video conferencing
  • 60” HMI enabled LED TV screens in every toom for branding or presenting
  • The use of the Ethernet to network any number of rooms across the venue
